The story revolves around a mother Sukanya who has two daughters named Anu and Shalini. Among them one stays with her and another one grows up in a different place. Both the daughters love their mother. But Anu due to possessiveness towards her mother tortures Shalini. The rest of the story is about the destiny which plays a part in their lives and helps them mend their ways. Kausalya with her extraordinary acting talents succeeds to touch the hearts of the fans in this serial too. The story is woven very beautifully that shows the heart of a daughter which longs for the love of a mother.
