The story revolves around two families who were neighbours. This serial is real comedy type and it shows the love hate relationship between the two families. The story is about a lady named Bachani Devi, who leads a calm life, even though she was a dacoit in the past. But inspite of she being calm, the people are scared of her. In the fight of getting back the ancestral home, Professor Tripathi fights with Bachani Devi by playing different tactics, but all in vain. The rest of the story is about the love between the professor's son and the friend of Bachani's grand daughter. The story with its strong comedy track has attracted the fans and they eagerly watch the soap with genuine interest and laugh continuously.
