The soap is a favourite among the fans because of its unique story. The story revolves around the Royal Family of Ameerkot and the heads of the family are Rajmata and RanaIndravadhan Singh. The Royal family acquires loss for various clusters of reasons and circumstances. To overcome the loss, Gayathri Seth is married by Rana, who is a widower. Gayathri is Daughter of a biggest money lender Gopa Seth and she is a manglik, which made difficult to find a groom. So Gopal Seth gives her in marriage to Rana. The rest of the story is about the issues and changes that happen in the Royal house hold after marrying a common girl. Rana who is still in love with his first wife even after marrying Gayathri, irritates her. The story is woven beautifully that it attracts the fans instantly.
