The soap is a family entertainer and is different from other soaps because of its story which is unique. The story revolves around two expatriates named Indramukhi and Chandramathi who return to their home lands. The nagging mother in law and a daughter in law who waits for a chance always to pounce over the mother in law make the serial a comedy one. The serial was well received by the fans irrespective of ages and class because of its originality and the ability to humourize the situations even when it is very difficult. The characters of this serial were shown very brilliantly where one attempt to better the other one and eventually end up I trouble. The soap was a massive hit among the audience. The characters Indramukhi and Chandramathi became household names in all the families of the fans.
