The story is based upon the story written by Rabindranath Tagore. It is a family entertainer with right mix of romance in it. Based on the story written by great Tagore, the beautiful story is about the man and woman relationship which is divine. The title song starting as Choke Amar Trisha, in the voice of Madhura Bhattacharya mesmerizes the listeners.
The story is set in the beginning of twentieth century. Binodhini is a beautiful young lady who is a widow. She stays with newlywed couple, Asha and Mahendra in a house. Mahendra gets attracted towards Binodhini due to her charm and beauty. But after some days, Binodhini starts loving a friend of Mahendra named Behari, who is an idealist. The main story is about Binodhini becoming Choker Bali for Asha. The serial is very unique and it is very informative. It shows how the relationship between a man and woman blooms in various circumstances. The serial is a massive hit among the audience.
