Ramayanam is the Tamil dubbing version of Hindi Tv series Ramayan. The Tamil version was once telecasted on Sun Tv and now it is being played on Jaya TV. The plot of the show is based on Valmiki's "Ramayana" and Tulasidas's "Ramacharitmanas". It was a remake of 1980's television series "Ramayan" directed by Ramanand sagar, but backed by colour and technology.
