The serial is a family entertainer as all the Balachander serials. It was aired in 2012 and now again it is aired in 2015 in the same channel, due to its vast popularity among the audience.The title song with lyrics by Vaaliand sung by Sri Madhumitha with music rendered by Kannan is successful spontaneously. The story revolves around middle class families and especially it focuses on the issues faced by the women and sensational incidents happening in our state. The atrocities done against women and the way the society responds is shown elaborately. Renuka is shown as the bold and beautiful .The problems faced by the women and the way they solve those and the hurdles involved in those are the main themes of the soap.

With experienced actors like Krishnan and Renuka, who are moulded by Balachander, the serial is a massive hit as expected.
