The serial was first telecasted in Zee Marathi by the name Jai Malhar. It is a mythological epic of Khandoba which is one of the avatar of Shiva. It is considered as one of the powerful deities. Shiva is considered as God of Love and is worshipped for superpower and as a symbol of excellence.
This soap shows the courage of Khandoba and the love people have for him. The story revolves around his adventures and his victory over Mani and Malla, who are the demons in this story.
The soap is unique for its right mix of adventures, mythology, fantasy and drama. The audience eagerly watch the soap for the thrills and the soap also gets the credits for the way of its story telling for the kids, which is a lost practice now in this world, where the joint families have vanished, which consisted of old people.
