Annakodiyum Aindhupengalum is the story of a family comprising of a mother (Annakodi) and her four daughters. Gowri, the eldest daughter is played by Sruthi Raj. Gowri's mother is the second wife of her father and is ill treated by the people around her. So Gowri wants to create an identity for her mother and so she along with other family members moves from Kerala to Tamil nadu to unite her mother with her father. How Gowri, a lawyer by profession settles the problems forms the rest of the story.
